Pist-n-Broke productions was created in the fall of 2000 to put together a video release tour for Pedalfiles. In one month we put on three different video release parties in various towns in British Columbia. Since then we have been working with various event organizers, companies, and video producers to build a name for ourselves and a quality product.
In the summer of 2001 we filmed various locations in North America, and contributed video footage to projects such as North Shore Extreme 5, and the World Cup Racing Video, The Circus. The fall of 2001 saw us putting on the final touches to Cory's Race Face UFC video, which carried us to a second place finish out of a couple hundred entries.
In November 2001, we filmed and edited together a QuickTime clip that was posted on the
Cove Bikes website, along with editing a 2.5 minute segment for Joyride Productions. Winter 2002 had us traveling to a few select events, filming and editing together another piece for the Cove Bike's website, and releasing Back In The Saddle.
Through 2003 and 2004 were busy traveling the continent and filming for "Back in the Saddle Again". By Mid summer 2004 we had a finished dvd in our hands, a wicked Vancouver premiere under our belts and hit the road to promote our latest film. On the travels we kept scheming and planning our next project and the end of 2004 saw us start shooting on BitS3…CKD Collectively Krankin up the Disorder.
2005 was a big year for us, aside from filming and planning for CKD, Pist-n-Broke had the opportunity to produce a TV commercial and a safety DVD staring Wade Simmons for The BC Injury Prevention Center. You can view the 30 Second PSA at
www.injuryfreezone.com. With 2005 coming to a close and a bunch of footage in the can for CKD, we are gearing up for a busy year in 2006. Be sure check back for an update on the release of CKD. We are always known for having killer parties and we wouldn't want you to miss this one.
